THE GREEN AGENTS
The Green Agents are characters from the future, from the fictional Just & Sustainable Plant-Based Food System Agency. They joined an Animal Rebellion protest, shutting down a branch of Barclay's bank to highlight their contribution to animal agriculture and fossil fuel investment. The Green Agents helped enphasise the bank as a criminal, holding crime scene tape.
BOX OF SHADOWS
A live stream of the human in the non-human space, supported by a performative scrapbook webpage; with poetry, video, soundscape, images, etc. Inspired by slaughterhouse vigils and bearing witness.
A collection of satirical videos, highlighting animal rights issues in the form of adverts. From a consent seeking dairy farm to up their ethical image, to a swine flu beer company trying to shift their pandemic causing variant that they captured in their pig farms.
PERFORMING ANIMAL RIGHTS ARCHIVE & PODCAST
An archive of performance used in animal rights activism around the world, from blockbuster films to street activism. The archive features a blog and podcast series, which interviews key creatives and organisations in the animal rights movement.
A 6 hour endurance piece inspired by the hunted free living and the hunt saboterus. This project explores the trauma of a hunt and the motivation for advocates to continue their activism
A site specific interaction with a beagle puppet, travelling from a breeding centre for lab tested beagle dogs, to a laboratory, via public areas. Exploring the actualising of trauma suffered by non-humans at the dominion of humans in a medical and cosmetic setting.
THE PLAGUE DOGS
Shadow puppet show for schools, following two dogs who have escaped from an animal testing lab. Adapted from the novel by Richard Adams, of the same name.
THE PIG IN THE MOON
An original musical, following the story of a young pig who escapes a slaughterhouse, meeting non-human friends on his way to find his family and be safe, away from dominion.
